Douglas Carr

Douglas Carr, one of the founders of LaCarr Music is a producer and songwriter out of Stockholm, Sweden. Currently Douglas is working on two in house projects, Dogmatix and Thilda, both to be debuting during the spring 2008.

Douglas was one of a handful people that formed the music era of today, this by writing/producing/remixing European and American Billboard top 1 hits in the beginning of the 90’s by creating a brand new underground sound movement with names such as Ace of Base (arista), Leila K (motor), Real McCoy (arista) and Dr Alban (logic). Turning heads when sales reached passed 40 million records.

Previously Douglas collaborated with artists such as Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys (JIVE), the Corrs (lava), Inner Circle (WEA) and Emma Bunton of Spice Girls (EMI) to name some. As a songwriter, Douglas has collaborated with names such as Diane Warren and Barbera Orbinson, but the list is enormous and will be given out upon request. Douglas home base is in the LaCarr studio, but does also travel the world as a producer/writer.
