Norwegian singer & songwriter Hanne Sorvaag
Stavanger born Hanne (now resident in Stockholm) has in a short period of time proved herself as a professional songwriter. After signing with UMPG in 2006, 28-year old Hanne has had a large number of cuts and hits around the world, including American Idol runner up Katherine McPhee’s US No.2 smash hit single “My Destiny” (19/RCA), German superstars No Angels’ Eurovison No.1 smash hit “Disappear” (Universal) and Mexican/Latin smash hit “Brief & Beautiful” with superstars Timberiche (EMI). Not forgetting hits all over Europe, Australia and Japan. Besides releasing her self produced solo album “Talk Of The Town” in her native Norway she’s also co-written several songs on Tarja Turu nen’s critically acclaimed and top 5 album “My Winter Storm” (Universal).

Hanne is renowned for her unique, vivid and storytelling writing style where her great feel for words and melodies has attracted a large number of artists, A&R executives and music managers on the international scene. In other words, she’s become a highly requested international pop writer. 2008 has started off tremendously for her with a number of international cuts.

Recent co-writes include Metrophonic (Enrique Iglesias, Anastacia, Britney Spears, Ronan Keating, Tina Turner, Cher etc), Curtis Richerson (JLo, Rihanna etc), Jorgen Elofsson (Westlife, American Idol, Britney Spears etc), Andreas Carlsson (Britney Spears, Celine Dione etc), Remee (Jamelia, Paradiso Girls, Monrose, Robyn etc), DeeKay (DK), Rob Davis (UK), Harry Sommerdahl (SWE), Adrian Zag (UK), Vacuum (Swe), Pelle Nylen (SWE) to name few…
