Nick Manic

Nick Manic is a Stockholm based songwriter / producer. He started his career as the lead singer of the Swedish band Apple Brown Betty. The band gained success in several European countries and in Asia but after two albums the band decided to go separate ways.

In 1999 he founded STHLM Hitfactory, one of the leading production companies in Scandinavia with credits incl. A-teens, Chipz, Brosis, Carola, Dede amongst others.

Between 2001-2003 he became one of Simon Cowells writers, the man behind artists like Westlife, Five and Il Divo. "This period developed me in to a new level in songwriting. Simon really made me understand that it's all about the song". During this period he also got in contact with the Amsterdam based management company Glamslam. He produced and wrote several tracks for the successful act Chipz, and the collaboration with Glamslam have now turned into a very close working relationship.

Right now Nick is working with the new Glamslam act May Farah and the Swedish female artist Mika for released later this year. He is also producing the 3rd Chipz album.

Nick co-writes include his partner Ziggy (Cher), Craig Wiseman (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill), Lindy Robbins (Backstreet Boys), Tom Nichols (Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Lindsey Loan), Marjorie Maye (Celine Dion) and Colin Campsie (Natalie Imbruglia) to mention a few.
